The realization of a new path.

I'm going in a different direction
looking back at my own reflection
i can't see my past objections
its an obsession - another lesson

now everything is black - what, now it's the night
nothing but smiles - grins of such delight
facemarks of fright - its all "hidden polite"
farce, foreseen without first learning the meaning

its a sad unfortunate fact - they will always hold you back
befriend the one who stabbed you in your back - and wonder why it keeps repeating

they are the kids of mess, lost in the abyss - dismissed - listen for their herded cries,
on their knees asking why - as they look to the sky - why won't you please come and save me?

another shadow in the room - all your flagrant lies in bloom
it's a sad tale of the lost, misled and creepy little children.

wanting without giving is quite misleading
crying and shouting - please give me a reason
why can't you please save me?
Do I look like i'm fucking crazy?

Pushed through levels of deception
fueled by my own lack of salvation
I will never go back - that's my inception
I don't care - about your perception.

I'm moving into a different direction
seeing clearly in my own reflection
journey out past dark destinations
under-estimate power persuasion

and when I see you call - i'm tempted to block all
so, I'll just ignore and listen for more
here we go again - another detached interception

keep pushing forward - to a new path
like I need your - bullshit - crap - perspective again
your just upset I'd never accept it - its time that you just respect it

i've moved into a different direction
full steam ahead - the mission objective
take on the world - the lost directive
the sun shines back - and its quite reflective
